La Organización de Venezolanos Perseguidos Políticos en el Exilio (Veppex) expresa su profunda satisfacción con la decisión tomada por el presidente de los Estados Unidos, Donald Trump, en torno a los acuerdos petroleros que se habían firmado con Venezuela.
El presidente Trump, señala, entre otras cosas, que Nicolás Maduro no ha cumplido su palabra respecto al tema migratorio y a la transparencia electoral a lo interno, lo cual debe ser un recordatorio de que cualquier negociación que pase por el Palacio de Miraflores no representa un compromiso real, pues su naturaleza delincuencial los hace ser nada confiables.
Así mismo, desde Veppex celebramos esta nueva política hacia la tiranía venezolana, que va en consonancia con la primera administración del mandatario, y apunta a dejar de financiar a ese régimen sanguinario responsable de múltiples violaciones a los Derechos Humanos y de intervenir de manera indirecta en otros países, como lo señala Trump en su declaración al hacer énfasis en que los criminales fueron enviados por el propio régimen de Nicolás Maduro.
Finalmente, y basados en las declaraciones del presidente, exigimos nuevamente que se revise la revocación del TPS a los venezolanos, y que sólo se ubiquen y deporten a aquellos venezolanos que hayan cometido crímenes o que tengan nexos directos con la tiranía.

Statement from the Organization of Politically Persecuted Venezuelans in Exile (Veppex) Regarding the Revocation of Oil Agreements Between the United States and Venezuela
The Organization of Politically Persecuted Venezuelans in Exile (Veppex) expresses its deep satisfaction with the decision made by the President of the United States, Donald Trump, regarding the oil agreements that had been signed with Venezuela.
President Trump states, among other things, that Nicolás Maduro has not kept his word regarding the migration issue and internal electoral transparency. This should be a reminder that any negotiation involving the Miraflores Palace does not represent a real commitment, as their criminal nature makes them completely untrustworthy.
Furthermore, at Veppex, we welcome this new policy toward the Venezuelan tyranny, which aligns with the first administration of the President and aims to stop financing that bloody regime responsible for multiple human rights violations and indirect interference in other countries. As Trump emphasizes in his statement, criminals were sent by Nicolás Maduro’s own regime.
Finally, based on the President’s statements, we once again demand that the revocation of TPS for Venezuelans be reconsidered and that only those who have committed crimes or have direct ties to the regime be located and deported.
